Materials list 

Below is only a suggested list. If you have canvas panels, paints and brushes from other brands, you can absolutely work with them too.

I use L600, Portrait grade linen panels from “New Traditions”

I will be using Sizes 12”x16” and 9”x12” for my demos.
Bring 3 of each sizes .

You can bring up to 14”x18” if you want to paint larger. 

Paints (suggested list)

I use the following brands- Rembrandt/Windsor Newton/
M Grahams/Micheal Harding paints. 

-Titanium White (Le Franc)

- Permanent Lemon yellow ( Rembrandt)

- Cadmium Orange ( Rembrandt) 

- Permanent Red Medium ( Rembrandt) 

- Brilliant Pink ( Michael Harding) 

- Alizarin Crimson (Windsor Newton)

- Transparent Oxide Red (Rembrandt)

- Ultramarine Blue deep

- Cobalt Blue (optional)

- Viridiana Green ( Rembrandt)

- Kings Blue deep (Micheal Harding/ Rembrandt)

- Ivory Black (Windsor & Newton)

Brushes (brands optional) 

- Rosemary brushes  Master Choice 279  

Sizes 2-6 ( or any other firm natural hair brush will do too) as long as they are not too soft.

Robert Simmons signet long filberts  these are bristle brushes -small, medium and large sizes.

 Robert Simmons Egbert brush size 6/8- also used for blocking in or laying the initial wash.

Trekell Fan Brush- size 4/6 

Linseed oil

Gamsol (if you are unable to bring due to air travel, there will be some in the studio for you to use in the workshop.)

Paper towel rolls for cleaning between strokes.
