This Personal Mentoring class with Jim is always very popular! Because artists often create alone, we can struggle to start or finish our work and solve recurring or new challenges while the paint is wet. Wouldn't it be great to have immediate, professional guidance to help you complete your artistic project?

In this class students work independently on their own projects and receive individual guidance from professional artist, Jim Himsworth while enjoying the camaraderie of other artists. Some students prefer to work from still life or cast set-ups, others draw or paint from personal photographs and some prefer to learn by copying paintings from a master artist past or present. Jim is able to help students decide what the best course of action will be to take them to the next level of their artistic journey.

Jim offers guidance on creating dynamic compositions, improving drawing and painting skills and how to best use photographic reference to create a beautiful work of art..

Bring in your medium of choice (graphite, oil, watercolor, pastel), reference image(s) and/or still life setup and we can work together to remove any stumbling blocks on your path to a successful finish.
